Project HOPE and JHCO Sign Framework Agreement to Strengthen Health and Humanitarian Assistance in the West Bank and Gaza

Amman, Jordan (March 5, 2025) – Project HOPE and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) have signed a Framework Agreement to enhance health and humanitarian assistance in the West Bank and Gaza. This partnership underscores both organizations’ commitment to delivering critical medical aid, strengthening healthcare infrastructure, supporting emergency response efforts, and rebuilding the devastated healthcare system in Gaza and the West Bank. 

Under this agreement, Project HOPE will serve as JHCO’s principal partner for medical and healthcare interventions, capacity building, and emergency response in the West Bank and Gaza.  

After 15 months of conflict, the health infrastructure in Gaza is on the brink of collapse. In Gaza, the vast majority of hospitals are either destroyed or only partially functional, and health workers face critical shortages of surgical equipment, medical supplies, and medication. In the West Bank, there have been over 900 attacks affecting health facilities and health workers, preventing patients from accessing care.
