Lasting Impact
Project HOPE works with local health workers and their communities to strengthen access to care, bolster local health systems, and find lasting solutions to global health challenges.
Our History of Lasting Impact
At Project HOPE, we leverage our 65+ years of global health expertise and our vast network of local health workers and partners across the globe to build lasting solutions to global health challenges.
In the face of glaring health inequities — from disproportionately high maternal and newborn mortality rates to the looming global health workforce shortage and the threats of infectious and noncommunicable diseases — we save lives, improve access to health care, and strengthen health systems for the long term by working hand-in-hand with local health workers and their communities.
Our teams are working towards lasting solutions by:
- Preventing the spread of infectious diseases like TB, HIV, COVID-19, and cholera
- Reducing the impacts of noncommunicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and cancer
- Improving care for women and babies to reduce mortality rates and give them a healthy start
- Training and equipping health workers with the skills and resources they need to save lives
- Providing innovative mental health support for health workers to promote resiliency
“Local communities and health workers must play an active role in setting priorities.”
— Rabih Torbay, President & CEO of Project HOPEStrengthening health systems and increasing access to care.
